The Cochinita pibil is one of the most representative dishes of this municipality and its main characteristic is its way of cooking, which is done in an earthen oven called "Pib". There is no better folksy breakfast than some cochinita pibil tacos or cake; and there is no better place to do it than in the main square of Hecelchakán accompanied by a delicious horchata water.
The flavor added by being cooked underground plus a recipe of great tradition will give us enough energy for the adventure through the Mayan lands of Campeche.
