Finished in 1675, it housed the hospitaller monks of San Juan de Dios or "Juaninos". They served the patients in the hospital, next to the church and convent. It was founded by Fray Bartolome de la Cruz as the Hospital of Nuestra Señora de los Remedios. The San Juan de Dios order construction began the construction in 1626 and the works were completed in 1655 with the support of the City Council
